MCMLS is a public library system with 1 Central Library and 6 branch libraries serving Montgomery County, TX. The Central Library is home to one of the largest Genealogy and Local History collections in the state of Texas.

For FY 2012, the library had 7238 registered cardholders and a total circulation of 103,909 items.  87,809 people visited the library during the year, many of them attending a library-sponsored program. 

The Library offers free wireless access, 11 Internet computers, a printer, and monthly computer classes.  There is also an adult book club group, weekly story time programs, activities for young adults, and a Summer Reading Club that incorporates all ages.  The Friends of the Willis Library (FOWL) group continues to be an active and vital advocate and supporter of the library.
