Owl Prowls in West Houston

Owl Prowls begin with a lively program on owls including a rare opportunity to meet live, rehabilitated owls at the Edith Moore log cabin. Then we go out on the Sanctuary's wooded trails in search of wild owls.

Upcoming Prowls: November 23, 2019; December 28, 2019; January 11, 2020: February 8, 2020

Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Fee: $10.00 adults; $6.00 children (ages 3-17), payable in advance.

What to Bring: Dress for walking in the woods - including insect repellent. Adults may bring a flashlight. Please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle.

Weather: We'll call you the afternoon of the prowl if stormy weather forces us to reschedule.

Parking: Please park in the Memorial Methodist west parking lot (12955 Memorial Drive) or the Sanctuary's small lot at 440 Wilchester.
