Marimba at Its Finest!
Thomas Burritt will perform works for solo marimba. He will be joined by pianist James Dick, the Institute's Founder and Artistic Director, to perform selected works for marimba and piano. Percussion students from the University of Texas Butler School of Music will provide accompaniment.
Burritt is Professor of Percussion and Director of Percussion Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. He has served as percussion faculty at Round Top Festival Institute each summer since 2004.
