Clear Lake Gem and Mineral Society

We are a group of people that love geology and rocks! Our monthly meeting is held on the 3rd Monday each month at 7:30 at the Clear Lake Park building. We have a presentation at each meeting. Throughout the year we have field trips and workshops so we can find rocks and turn them into pieces of art. Our annual show is the Clear Lake Gem and Mineral Show held at the Pasadena Convention Center in February. We award scholarships in Geology, Mineralogy, Geophysics and Paleontology at any accredited university or college as part of a course of studies in Earth Sciences.
