Earthday Seedling Giveaway

CenterPoint Energy in collaboration with Bellaire Parks & Recreation - Evelyns Park Conservancy, and Trees for Houston will distribute 500 tree seedlings this month honoring Earth Day. The seedling giveaway will take place from 11am -2pm on Earth Day, April 22, 2021 at Evelyns Park Conservancy (4400 Bellaire Blvd, Bellaire, TX 77401) Species to be distributed are Pecan, White Oak, Red Bud and Eve’s Necklace (Texas Sophora). One seedling per household. There’s no need to register, just show up and claim your 1 seedling. There will be a CNP Forester on site to answer tree questions and concerns you may have.
Grab your gingham and join us for a day of picnicking festivities across our great lawn and gathering spaces. Savor something delicious at our cafe culinary events, mini-farmers market, and beer and wine tastings—or boost your heart rate with fun fitness classes, kids’ activities, and treasure hunts around our “Move One Place On” sculpture. Enjoy family, community and nature. Let Evelyn’s Park “Enrich Your Every Day.”
