Unleash your child’s full potential and set them up for a lifetime of success! Enroll in Arts Alive! classes today to set your child up for success by embracing and expanding your child’s natural abilities of imagination, joy, play, and curiosity! Arts Alive! is a curriculum enrichment program that unlocks the part of a child’s brain that is not typically developed in an academic setting. We take the joy of movement and the creativity of the arts and use it to teach children to activate the higher-order thinking center of their brain. It’s quite fascinating!

Since 1994, ARTS ALIVE! has been providing research-based, creative integrated-arts curriculum. The result is an innovative suite of classes and workshops specifically designed to acknowledge and enhance each child’s learning style in order to develop critical skills for all aspects of learning and personal development. The diverse skills of the ARTS ALIVE! family constitutes a mosaic that truly enhances the educational environment. Our teachers have backgrounds in theatre arts, creative drama, dance, music, visual arts, art history, psychology, literature, communications, Spanish, early childhood, and elementary education.

ARTS ALIVE! has worked with nearly 400 schools and organizations and has taught over 51,000 students, ages 3 months to 103 years old, since our beginning in 1994.

Every student in ARTS ALIVE! is a success.

Research shows that students who take classes in ARTS ALIVE! – a multi-modal arts program designed to enhance a variety of skills – improve their ability to engage in the learning process. The educational, cognitive, emotional, social, and physical benefits of our programs are proven and essential.

Our curriculum is founded on involving and engaging each and every student at their level and has resulted in the creation of fifty originally designed thematic lesson plans. We teach through, rather than about, a theme. This thematic approach engages each child’s imagination and makes each lesson plan more dynamic which enables participants to remember so much more content. We call this Education through Imagination

Among other key differentiators are our personnel, experience, training, and qualifications:

  • We are in our nineteenth year of business, with over half of our staff with us for over fourteen years. Many of them have advanced degrees, including in education and the arts as well as years of experience working with children.
  • All of our teachers undergo extensive teaching apprenticeships– three to six months or more - before teaching on their own.
  • Our leadership team, under the charge of founder Tina Sabuco, regularly observes teachers in the field and continually gives them feedback to improve their teaching skills and the overall quality of our classes.
  • Our educators attend several professional development workshops every year to sharpen their skills and stay abreast of the most current research and methods.
