Ballet North Texas Conservatory

Ballet North Texas Conservatory is the official school of Ballet North Texas offering dance and music classes for all ages. At BNTC we believe in cultivating an atmosphere of inclusion and community where each student can benefit from a positive and uplifting environment.

Ballet North Texas was founded in November 2017 by Nicolina Lawson, for the purpose of bringing Dallas continually expanding productions of contemporary, neo-classical, and classical works through its own professional ballet company. In April of 2018 Ballet North Texas received its 501(c)3 Non-profit Arts Organization.

The 2018-19 Season was BNT’s first season featured three full evening productions and over 18 performances.

In January 2019 BNT began its professional trainee program with one student and now reachs over ten students who train alongside the professional company throughout the season. In addition to its company trainee program, BNT established Ballet North Texas Conservatory to fullfill its need for a pre-professional student age training division, children's dance classes and private music lessons.

BNCT is designed to fulfill the need of student rolls in the professional company’s performance programs and, to train the next generation of dancers and performance artists, ensuring expansion and sustainability of the BALLET NORTH TEXAS, leading to its growth to a level of national recognition.

North Texas Conservatory offers: ballet, jazz, contemporary, open adult ballet; a complete pre-professional and student company dance program, and private piano instruction for all ages after school and on weekends.
