Friendship Circle of Houston

Founded over 20 years ago, The Friendship Circle of Houston’s unique inclusion formula introduces teenage volunteers to children with disabilities, bringing friendship through weekly programming, including bowling, tennis, bayou walks and at-home playdates. Our experiential programming also extends to the adult with disabilities community, with the help of our adult volunteers. Not only do these community connections provide a much needed respite for parents and caretakers, our volunteers become enriched, inspired and motivated. By sharing themselves with others, they are able to find a newer, higher level of meaning, purpose, and love.
