Houston Audubon is a chapter of National Audubon Society in an assigned 11-county area surrounding and including Houston. Its mission is to promote the conservation and appreciation of birds and wildlife habitat.
Bayou Buddies is an educational and fun class for young learners. Each week we will explore a different native Texas animal. Starting with “A”, we’ll work our way through the alphabet learning about a different animal each week. Every class will include a natural history lesson, story, craft, snack, and outdoor activity. All children ages 3-5 are welcome. Classes are held on Tuesday afternoon and will begin in September 2019 and run until May 2020. Sessions are 1.5 hours long and are held at the Houston Audubon's Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary - 440 Wilchester Blvd. Houston TX 77079
