Giving Houston parents a bold new choice in education, Houston Sudbury School is a non-profit private school that offers children aged five to eighteen the rich benefits of self-directed learning in a mixed-age environment. Our students are fully empowered to spend their days as they choose and have an equal voice and vote in all matters involved in running their school, journeying to independence in a safe environment that balances freedom with responsibility.
Join us for our HSS Summer Program. Participants will experience the Sudbury model of education first hand. Current students are excited to extend their school year for a bit longer, while introducing others to the best kept secret. Freedom with responsibility. Campers will have the opportunity to live Sudbury without interfering with their traditional school schedule... Warning: They may never want to leave!
