Upstage Arts Students will create their own musical production, based on the acronym LOL,  Comedian Rob Nash, of Austin, Texas, will direct LOL: The Musical.

Youth will be given the title for their production - LOL: The Musical - and then they’ll create the show from beginning to end with guidance from facilitators.

This new camp is an intensive opportunity to explore writing, performance and everything in-between in the production process.

This summer theatrical experience will be an invaluable opportunity for teenagers to create a unique piece of musical theater from start to finish, as a team. They will work together through the writing, set design, performance and all aspects of theater.”

Nash has performed his unique solo theater and standup comedy worldwide, from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to off-Broadway in New York to the Montreal Comedy Arts Festival to Atlantis Cruise Lines. He also has been featured on Comedy Central, VH1 and Q Television.
