Queensbury Theatre, formerly Country Playhouse, was founded in early 1956, where it opened with its inaugural play, Personal Appearance by Lawrence Riley. That first show was performed at Memorial Drive Elementary School. Since then, Country Playhouse moved a few times from Veterans Hall to what is now a parking lot in Memorial City Mall. In 1981, the theatre finally found a place to call home in Town & Country on Queensbury Lane, and we’re pleased to be opening our brand new building in the same location.
The Tribble School explores the heart of great music, theatre and dance. We exist to provide a positive and nurturing environment, where students of all ages and backgrounds can develop skills; tell meaningful stories; and connect – with self, the truth of the moment, their fellow artists, and community.
