Baytown July 4th Celebration

This year’s Fourth of July Celebration will mark the 250th anniversary of our nation’s independence, making the 2026 event an especially historic occasion for the community. The celebration will once again take place at Bicentennial Park and will feature a full evening of patriotic entertainment, interactive experiences, and family-friendly activities. To help commemorate this milestone, historical reenactment groups including the 1st Texas Naval Squadron and Texas Army reenactors will be on site. These groups will provide an immersive experience for attendees by demonstrating period equipment, firing cannons and rifles, and showcasing exhibits to give residents a glimpse of what life was like in the 1800s.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Leading up to the event, the community will also have the opportunity to participate in an Apple Pie Baking Contest, with the winners being announced during the celebration. In addition, the event will feature the America Mile Challenge, where participants will compete to complete as many miles as possible within a two-hour timeframe for a chance to win a prize.

The lineup of musical entertainment begins with DJ Boris, followed by opening act Selestial Alcoser. Direct support will be provided by Mustache the Band, with the headlining performance by Eli Young Band. Formed in Texas, the Eli Young Band has achieved national success with four No. 1 singles on the Billboard Country Airplay charts, making them a fitting headliner for this year’s celebration.

The evening will conclude with the City’s signature fireworks show, a pyrotechnic display that has become a highlight of the annual celebration. Residents and visitors are encouraged to join us on July 4 at Bicentennial Park as we come together to celebrate this historic milestone with music, community spirit, and a spectacular fireworks finale.

This festival has earned the Baytown Sun Readers’ Choice Award for Best Community Event three years in a row, from 2023 to 2025. It is a celebration that blends national pride with local tradition, honoring 250 years of American independence while continuing the Baytown traditions that generations have cherished.
