Join us for Cool Nights every Friday evening from June 26 through August 21. From 5 to 8 p.m. guests can enjoy added music and kid-friendly activities for kids and adults alike! All activities are included in Zoo admission.

Thanks to TXU Energy, the Houston Zoo is once again staying open late until 8:30 p.m., so you can enjoy the animals in the cooler evening weather. Join us for Cool Nights every Friday evening from June 26 through August 21. From 5 to 8 p.m. guests can enjoy added music and kid-friendly activities that are sure to entertain kids and adults alike! All activities are included in Zoo admission.July 3: Red, White & ZooCelebrate the Fourth of July at the Zoo with your favorite animals! Create your own flag, march to the sounds of the brass band, and parade around the Reflection Pool with Uncle Sam. You’ll also enjoy special Meet the Keeper Talks presented by Phillips 66 with a few of our red, white, and blue animals.
