Thanks to TXU Energy, the Houston Zoo is once again staying open late until 8:30 p.m., so you can enjoy the animals in the cooler evening weather. Join us for Cool Nights every Friday evening from June 26 through August 21. From 5 to 8 p.m. guests can enjoy added music and kid-friendly activities that are sure to entertain kids and adults alike! All activities are included in Zoo admission.July 31: Rhythms of AfricaDance to the rhythms and sounds of Africa and experience gorillas and red river hogs up-close and incredible! After enjoying Cool Nights, head across the street to Miller Outdoor Theatre and join the University of Houston for the Houston Shakespeare Festival, featuring Macbeth.
