Families with Pride
Families with Pride has always been about something simple but incredibly meaningful: creating a welcoming space where families can come together, be themselves, and know they are part of a community that sees, supports, and celebrates them.

The annual Families with Pride festival on Saturday, October 24, 2026, will be presented by the Harris County Attorney’s Office in partnership with the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce and Discovery Green. Celebrating LGBTQIA+ History Month, Families with Pride brings families from across the Houston region together for a free, family-friendly day featuring arts and crafts, live performances, community resources, and activities for kids of all ages.
Open to the public. All families, children, LGBTQIA+ community members, and allies are welcome
Whether you’re an LGBTQIA+ family, an ally, or simply looking for a welcoming community celebration, Families with Pride is an opportunity to celebrate love, togetherness, family, and pride.
