Majic 102.1 Presents “A Funky Good Time” hosted by Funky Larry Jones. Morris Day, burst onto the public scene with the group’s self-titled album, The Time, which included “Get It Up,” “Cool,” and “Girl.” Soon after the world was introduced to the prolific Minneapolis music marvel, as the group went on to record three more albums and the smash hit “Jungle Love.”

Morris Day, burst onto the public scene with the group’s self-titled album, The Time, which included “Get It Up,” “Cool,” and “Girl.” Soon after the world was introduced to the prolific Minneapolis music marvel, as the group went on to record three more albums and the smash hit “Jungle Love.” The lineup also features Cameo known for such hits as “Candy” and “Word Up”. Rose Royce bring their energetic show filled with funk and R&B to the stage. Rounding out the night is the soul & funk is SOS Band, Zapp, Dazz Band, and Lakeside at the Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land on November 2.
