Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, the City of Baytown presents Baytown’s Grito Fest. Two days of free entertainment for the whole family, starting Friday, October 4 at Baytown Town Square. Saturday, October 5 at Bicentennial Park there will be an accordion, jalepeño and grito shout contest.

Friday, October 4 (Town Square)

  • 5:00 p.m. - Event Opens

  • 7:00-8:30 p.m. - Sandy G y Los Gavilanes Band

Saturday, October 5 (Bicentennial Park)

  • 8:15-9 p.m. - Grito Contest Finals
  • 9-10:30 p.m. - Headliner: Los Tigrillos

  • Shade tents are allowed for the first half of the concert

This is a FREE, non-ticketed event

Parking

Free public parking will be available at Lee College while those needing access to handicap parking will be accommodated at the Lee College Performing Arts Center.

Event Rules

  • No alcohol
  • No smoking or vaping
  • No pets
  • No drones
  • No bicycles, scooters, or motorized vehicles
  • No four-wheelers/ATVS
  • No skateboards, rollerblades, or roller skates
  • No fireworks of any kind
  • No BBQ pits or grills
  • All bags and coolers are subject to being searched
