Saying proudly, “we have always existed, we have always been here, we were not discovered.” This celebration invites people of all backgrounds to recognize the sovereignty and resilience of Indigenous nations, featuring cultural performances, vendors, foods, and music. It is a day to reflect on the contributions of Indigenous peoples and to acknowledge their rightful place in the world’s history and future.
