Juneteenth Festivities

Texas City Hosts a slate of events to celebrate Juneteenth and the African American heritage of the community. Annually, the City hosts a Gospel Fest, Golf Tournament, Poetry Slam, as well as the Charles Brown Juneteenth Celebration. Check out all of our Juneteenth events and celebrate with us!

Parade Details

 

The parade will line up at Texas City High School and continue to Bay Street Park. Stay tuned for a more detailed route!

Art of Freedom Exhibit
Date: Saturday, June 7
Time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Location: Texas City Museum (Bell House visit from noon to 2 p.m.)

Paint and Sip

Location: Showboat Pavilion

Poetry Slam

Parade & Charles Brown Juneteenth Celebration
