Newsies
Step into New York City in 1899 and experience the inspiring true story that changed history!
When newspaper prices rise and profits soar, the city's young newsboys are left struggling to survive. Led by the charismatic Jack Kelly, a determined group of newsies bands together to fight back against publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer. With the help of ambitious reporter Katherine Plummer, they organize a strike that becomes one of the most remarkable youth-led movements in American history.
Inspired by the real Newsboys Strike of 1899, Newsies is a thrilling, high-energy musical about courage, friendship, and standing up for what's right. Featuring Harvey Fierstein's witty book and unforgettable songs by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman, including "Seize the Day," "Santa Fe," and "Watch What Happens," this family-friendly production is packed with powerful performances, spectacular dancing, and heart.
