NYT Presents Totally 80s

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 11/13/2022
Totally 80s, The Musical is a crazy wild fun journey through the 80s exploring all the music of all different styles. It explores things like 80s cartoons, TV themes, MTV, and features some of the best songs from the 80s! Of course, no tribute to the 80s would be complete without neon colors and rubber bracelets, side ponytails, and shoulder-bearing sweatshirts. You get it all at Totally 80s, The Musical!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

NYT’s Totally 80s, The Musical will take you back to the 1980s, before cell phone interruptions and movie downloads, when siblings still taped music off the radio with cassette recorders and the family actually gathered together to watch TV (when the theme songs such as Cheers and Hill Street Blues were a part of our lives).

Whether this takes you back to your childhood or just a younger adulthood, Totally 80s, The Musical defines an era through its music. This show features a very-talented cast of ages 12-19 that will blow you away with incredible voices, sweet harmonies, and iconic dancing (Thriller, Rhythm Nation, Beat It… just to name a few).

Like anything NYT produces, its family-friendly, but this one is even better for a group of friends. Especially if you ever had a Duran Duran poster on your wall!
