The event host, Spectrum Fusion, invites the public to join the audience and support participants. During Reactor Room sessions, autistic adults present their goals to a panel of community members with expertise and connections in their area of interest. Desired outcomes might be an internship that will allow a participant to build relevant experience, an employment opportunity or connections for a business launch. From there, the panelists work with the participant, harnessing their connections, experience and ideas, to create an “Activation Plan” for achieving that outcome. The participants April 7 will include a Houston resident trying to launch his career in forensic psychology and the inventor of a mobility device that he hopes to market. The Spectrum Fusion Media Team will participate, too. The team comprises Houston-area videographers, editors, writers, graphic designers and voice-over actors on the autism spectrum. Panelists range from Harris County Precinct 1 Constable Alan Rosen to a Johnson & Johnson executive, and prominent researcher, Fred Oswald, Ph.D. To reserve free seating to observe the Reactor Room, visit https://spectrumfusion.org/2022-April-reactor-room/#rsvp.
