Texas Taco Music Fest
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 09/16/2017
Spend a Saturday afternoon trying out tacos, listening to live music, browsing craft booths and more at Houston's Discovery Green. The Coalition of Hispanics for Excellence In Technology & Art (CHEITA) hosts this all-day festival, benefiting the city's cultural arts programs, which is set to include a taco cook-off featuring some of the area's finest chefs and restaurants, plus a special performance by Danzantes de Voladeros, a daredevil pole-flying dance team direct from Papantla, Mexico. Musical acts Mind Shrine, #43 and Jimencio Castillon are scheduled to take the stage, and there's a kids' area for the little ones.
