Wicked Fun Run 5K Races Into Riverstone Sept. 26

Competitive and non-competitive runners alike can lace up, leap in and fall for fun while also helping kids in need step into new shoes when the Riverstone Wicked Fun Run 5K races into Riverstone, 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26.
Benefitting St. Laurence, a non-profit providing shoes to children in need, the race gets started at The Club at Riverstone, 18353 University Boulevard. The fee is $35 for competitive racers, $25 for non-competitive racers and $15 for a 1K kid's run. Fees can be waived by donating a pair of new children's tennis shoes of equal or greater value to St. Laurence. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers. The event concludes with a post-race party featuring a photo booth, DJ, bounce houses, face painters and more.
