The Woodlands Wildflower Festival

The Woodlands Lions Club in partnership with The Woodlands Township, is hosting The Woodlands Wildflower Festival – a free, family-oriented event on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Rob Fleming Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event features free giveaways, including thousands of wildflower seed packets in many different varieties distributed by generous seed sponsors, posters and tote bags. The festival will include other family friendly activities such as wildflower crafts, inflatables, face painting, live performances, food trucks and more!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

One of the festival's favorite traditions is the annual art contest, where artists of all ages—from toddlers to teens to adults—showcase their talents and bring the beauty of wildflowers and nature to life. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just love to create, we encourage you to enter and be part of this year's celebration!

This long-standing community tradition has been brought to the community by The Woodlands Lions Club through its partnership with The Woodlands Township and corporate sponsors. Thus, all the proceeds will fund the Lions Club charities including local college scholarships and vision screenings and eyeglasses for children, and many more.
