Join us for Explore Abilities, a NEW exclusive event for children with learning differences and their families. Designed in partnership with the Meyer Center for Developmental Pediatrics and Autism Center at Texas Children’s Hospital, Explore Abilities gives families the opportunity to enjoy the entire Museum at their own pace and also participate in the special activities occurring during the day.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
- Music Prelude: Event times: 10:15 a.m., 10:45 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 11:45 a.m. in Tree Top
- Interactive Storytime: Event times: 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Parent Resource Library
This exclusive event will provide:
- A comfortable, protected and accepting environment.
- An opportunity for parents to make connections with other families.
- Special needs information for parents.
Families may bring in outside food and drinks to the Explore Abilities event (the Fresh Café will be closed).
