Night Hike

Come enjoy the sights and sounds of the prairie, forest, and bayou at night! Some nocturnal creatures you may see or hear are owls, bats, fireflies, raccoons, spiders, armadillos, deer, frogs, and more!

Teachers can earn 2 SBEC hours for participating in this activity. Please indicate when booking that you would like to receive SBEC hours.
Know before you go

The maximum capacity for a hike is 10 people

We recommend that you bring water and insect repellent

If you have red lights, feel free to bring them with you

We recommend that you wear long pants for the hike

Closed toe shoes are required on the hike. Participants without proper footwear will not be able to participate.

These hikes are for ages 6 and up

The hike will be approximately 1.5 to 2 hours
