Come meet your Wild Neighbors!

Friends of Texas Wildlife will hold an Open House on April 9, 2022, 10:00-2:00.  Education ambassadors (non releasable animals) will be on hand to meet you including the owls and hawks in the new Raptor House.  Tour the Eagle Flight enclosure, take a peek behind the scenes at the Intake Center, and explore hands on animal artifacts in the Education Center.  Pet a opossum, touch a snake,  and gaze into the eyes of an owl.  Talk to rehabilitators and learn how they help orphaned and injured wildlife return to the wild.  Several organizations will have booths to share their knowledge of nature.  The Friends of Texas Wildlife Open House will be held at the Education Center located at 29816 Dobbin Hufsmith, Magnolia.  Admission is $5 per person which supports the rehabilitation of the thousands of wild animals that Friends of Texas cares for each year.
