The City of La Porte is turning up the heat on summer with the brand new festival - Summer Party on Main! On Saturday, June 22nd from 4-9pm, thermometers will be bursting as blazing hot live bands crank things up on the Main Stage.

Tejano and Classic Rock favorites are sure to get you and your crew dancing the night away, as you also enjoy the best food trucks in the Houston-area, ice cold beer, a variety of local craft & artisan vendors and special street performances. Everyone will be gathering around the Main Stage at 6pm to witness the Ultimate Watermelon Eating Contest! The competition will have divisions for both adults and kids. Not only can kids enjoy the contest, but there will be plenty of fun activities, crafts and slides to enjoy as well. Come experience a hometown summer night like you’ve never seen!
